These early works are samplings from different pursuits over the years: two delicate Chinese paper dolls that captured attention; the extensive color exploration series named “Color Leak,” a few portrait investigations including a group of ten self-portraits within a genre format; forays into ceramics, collage, printmaking, sculpture, and, though not included here, hundreds of photographs, both serious and less than, occupied hours not devoted to the museum world.
