Nez Perce Appaloosa, Idaho

Meriweather Lewis and William Clark called this territory a "paradise." It has been the home of the Nez Perce Nation for centuries. They are well- known for famous war leader Chief Joseph and for painstaking selective breeding over generations to develop the distinctive Appaloosa horse.
