Newport, Rhode Island

A graceful schooner sails out of Narragansett Bay repeating a Newport tradition since its 1630 founding by religious refugees from the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Newport is well-known for Jazz festivals, Gilded Age mansions, the infamous triangular shipping trade (New England, Africa, West Indies), and as the hometown of American Masters Henry James and Gilbert Stuart.
