TEXAS - TRIPLET Up
from Big Bend National Park and close to Carlsbad Caverns over the New
Mexico border lies Guadalupe National Park with its interesting mesas
and rock formations and the ruins of a 19th century Pony Express office.
All around the park were these nutritious desert dwellers, the cactus
known as “Prickly Pear,” and this fascinating little creature,
an exotic relative to the anteater and sloth, our bony plated cutey, the
nine-banded armadillo. |
