WYOMING - TRIPLET Wyoming: One of the most beloved sights in the world is the Yellowstone River cascading 1200 feet down through its colorful golden canyon. Painted a million times, this land of geysers, fumaroles, and hot springs was set aside as a national park in 1872 by my hero, Ulysses S. Grant. On this trip its abundant wild life included this tough big-horned Mountain Sheep resting in front of a petroglyph-covered rock wall, and a bright American Kestrel, a pretty little falcon often misnamed “Sparrow Hawk.” |
