GEOTHLYPIS
TRICHAS — COMMON YELLOWTHROAT
|
||
Here’s
a little boy who loves a good marsh. He’s only five inches long
but has a great loud rhythmic song: wichity wichity wich, that
he uses to call his little warbler wives to order. They will often make
their nests just three feet above ground in small shrubbery. He generally
loves to eat insects, caterpillars, and spiders, but here he seems to
be fascinated by some popcorn left on a stump. |
