Zion NP, Utah

Zion National Park, Utah

Sandstone towers hulk 2,000 feet above the sculpted canyon floor and the little Virgin River that caused it all over the course of a million years. Pinon pine, Big-toothed maple, willow and cottonwood trees soften the canyon sounds heard in turn for centuries by Anasazi, Spanish priests and soldiers, trappers and Mormon pioneers.
